ELSpe-2 PreCon automated trace metals preconcentration and matrix removal system is a sample preparation system for complex samples such as seawater, alkali metal salts, alkaline earth metal salts, acid and base reagents, etc. It utilizes the different retention characteristics of the chelate column for different metals to retain and enrich the transition metals and rare earth elements passing through the chelate column while eluting the salt matrix.
The high-efficiency sample removal system eliminates matrix interference, significantly enhancing signal-to-noise ratios and detection limits. With a 400μL injection volume, the signal-to-noise ratio for 0.1ppb Cd exceeds 1000, with detection limits below 1ppt and an analysis time of less than 3 minutes.
The system excels in handling high-salinity marine samples, where transition metal and heavy metal environmental concentrations are typically at the ng/L level and the salt matrix content is approximately 3.5%. The ELSpe-2 PreCon fully automatic seawater desalting and concentration system removes over 99.9% of the salt content, drastically simplifying seawater sample analysis.
The system supports multiple flexible and swappable analysis modes, including desalting/enrichment (pre-concentration) analysis, automatic dilution analysis, and speciation analysis, as well as hydride generation mode to adapt to various testing requirements.
The ELSpe-2 Prin-Can system can be seamlessly integrated with ICP-MS systems from all major brands, ensuring broad applicability in advanced analytical laboratories.
